I choose this picture because currently, my oldest child is in a trying phase. He’s sassing, questioning, running, yelling, destroying, rough-housing, refusing, ignoring, and irritating. Within minutes of being home, I find myself correcting him and fed up. I need to remember moments like the one in the photo – despite his ornery ways that make me want to go on a vacation far far away, I love this little guy. He is only four, despite irritating me like some high schoolers I know. I need to focus on the goodness and sweetness he brings to my life to remember that all the other stuff is completely worth it
