Goldilocks

Little One’s Hair is a topic of great debate in our house. He has these gorgeous, golden curls that are to die for. He is our free spirit, so unlike his older brother, and the hair suits him. However, those curls are a bit unruly and are just BEGGING to be put into pigtails by this mom of two boys. The kid is 18 months old, and his hair stretches to the middle of his back when it’s wet. He runs around like a crazy person and often looks (and sounds) like one – disheveled hair, blood-curling screech, mad giggling. After a few minutes of playing, he’s a hot mess (a cute one, but a mess nonetheless). I would love to cut it. Just tame it. Just a bit. He had a micro-trim a few months ago, resulting in a mullet-esque ‘do. The husband – the BALD husband – has ixnayed any further chopping plans. I get it. Especially on a night like tonight. Just look at those curls:

  1. I don’t think I need to tell you how happy this makes me.
