For this post, I have to include not only a picture, but a video as well. The best surprises for me always come at the doing of my kids. Some of them are bad surprises – like finding out my oldest son was peeing in the corner of his room, for example. But, most of the time, my boys surprise me in great ways – cleaning up after themselves, hugging each other, eating everything on their plate without throwing a fit OR throwing their food.
So, my post includes a picture of one of our best surprises – when we decided to tell my mom we were pregnant with Baby #2. We had Ethan break the news by wearing this shirt:

Her reaction is the best – pure surprise, pure joy. This was about two years ago, and Jackson has continued to be a source of joy and surprises. I especially love this video because of Ethan’s sweet little voice. He was 2.5, not yet the crazed-talker he currently is. Just an awesome memory all around.
Best surprise! I love that video of your mom…and the fact that E was oblivious and just kept blabbering about his screw driver! Look how LITTLE he was!!!!
